Default Allyce's Fabric Finds a home after 27 years!

My DML passed away in 1987...she had a huge stash of fabric and two very odd pieces...her sister got all the stash...I got the two odd pieces...this one was her...bold and bright and colorful...I've saved it all these years waiting for the right thing to come along and for me this is it... It was fun to fmq around the design and I thought of her with each stitch. She was only 63...too young.

The fabric is fabulous, so much 'movement and wonderful color!!
Seems it had to wait until this new "incarnation" of orange to find its perfect use!

Love that fabric and the bag you made, what a great piece to have in memory of your mom.

Great bag! Your MIL and I would have gotten along very well, if one can judge that from a fabric choice!

The round shape of the purse is perfect for the fabric, with its swirling movement. It turned out great!
