Fall is my favorite season so I plan to use these colors in a quilt soon as I collect enough FQ's. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

EQ is a computer program that we use to see what a quilt will look like before we start cutting fabric. It means Electric Quilt. You can put real fabrics in there that you actually own and "test" them to see if you like them. It is wonderful.

I really like the pattern you created. In rich fall colors, it will be a stunner. I would be tempted to consider batiks.

This fall leaf pattern is a personal favorite of mine. They are so pretty when finished.

THANKS--learn something every day! Go figure, an electric version of what a quilt will look like. Generally, I just use colored pencils and hope for the best. Now that I have my new hard drive with monster amount of space and using Windows7, maybe I will do some searching for this program.

I made this quilt several years ago, using fall colored batiks. I love this maple leaf pattern, and it's very easy to make. Can't wait to see yours finished.
