Thumbs up Amazing Surprise...and a little melancholy

I have been absent from QB for some time, started a new job and started school...my time is not my own anymore. Well today I received a gift in the mail from a wonderful group of ladies. I was so shocked. On the label, one from the chat group, Alabama Quilter, was one of the contributors. We lost her this past year. What a true treasure this quilt is. It is called "Operation Red" cause my home girls KNOW I love red! Oh, and they all know I love cats and one of them has assigned me the unicorn as my spirit animal!

Well that is just wonderful. You have some very special ladies in your life. Good luck with work and school. Try to find some little bit of time to sew.
peace

So happy to have been asked to participate! It puts a light feeling in my heart to have my name on the label of something that will put a smile on your face.

I imagine there were tears in your eyes when you opened this. What a gift to have such caring people in your life. For that alone you can be grateful.

I'm so glad you got it!!! It was a joy to participate in a project that bro longs you happiness . And yes, melancholy that AQ is no longer with us. But her work lives on your quilt. Blessings as you go to school and work in your new job.
