An Amish Rainbow to celebrate Summer

My early quilting projects were often inspired by the Amish. I haven't visited that in so long, I thought it was time. These brights certainly hit the spot! In drafting this, I was bound and determined to have the border fit perfectly and I wanted to make sure that each corner was different. It's a good thing I like playing with numbers.

Happy summer to all. Here in Maine we are starting out with a couple days in the 90's - and the high was only 63 yesterday!

Ohh, I like it! The black background & border really make those colors POP. Very cheery quilt.

Gorgeous. The book Quilts! Quilts!! Quilts!!! has a quilt that looks a lot like yours with the border transitioning from one color to the next only they used all different size strips to do it. You did a wonderful job on it.

Awesome. Love all the bright colors and the black just makes it go zing. How big are the squares? Think that's in my future. BrendaK

That is a very pretty quilt. Well done.
We've had in the high 90's most of the last 2 weeks and predictions are the same for the next 10 days or so. We're seim-arrid here. No rain in the near future and lots of hot, dry wind.

Very colorful, like the electric colors against the black background. I love the colors repeated in the border.
