This little Amish quilt top was a PIF given to me by Natalieg.

It was NOT quilted so last night I practiced my free style quilting on it, finished it, took the back fabric and bound it to the front and threw it in the washer to see if the quilting stitches would come out, well, they didn't.

No stencils used, just free styling.
It's rough looking, but great practice for me because now I can achieve my work and do better next time.

It was quilted on my 301A short-bed that I bought from Tanya on here, but I have a 301A Long-bed that is in poor shape; I removed the Long-bed from my Long-bed and removed the short-bed from the one Tanya sent me and switched out the beds.
So in reality, the Short-bed is now a Long-bed.

Whatcha think on the Short-bed / Long-bed conversion...?
    Thanks for looking!

Good job!-I work the same way, making myself free motion on a project, even when I'm afraid it won't look good, and I learn to make new designs every time! It gets easier the more you quilt!
