Thought I'd get a head start on my next GBaby's first quilt. Don't know if the baby will be a boy or girl so used these colors. I appliqued all the bears using a real tight zigzag stitch.

What do you all think? I was really unsure about using purple but DH said if the baby is a boy that boys wear purple too so I went ahead and tried it. I used all flannel material so should be warm for the very cold winters in upstate New York.

This will be our oldest son's first baby, we're so excited!!

It is so cute. And you are so far ahead. Boys enjoy all colors especially when babies before anyone can tell them they aren't suppose to.

Happy for you and your family for the new arrival. The blanket is very pretty and should keep a little one warm.

We are very excited! Two days after he announced the coming of his little one, our next to oldest son announced they will also be having another baby, due on November 13 (their wedding anniversary). So I'll be starting another baby quilt right away! :D :D
