That is so nice of you to do this. I am so sorry about this gentleman & also his family. Great to hear his neighbors buying so many tickets to help out

I made this quilt for a benefit for a family man in my community that has an inoperable malignant brain tumor. Cobra insurance is running out very soon and they are taking his drivers license away because of risk of seizures with radiation treatments. So there goes his income, he's a truck driver.
Very pleased that people I know are buying tickets. They're $1 but everyone is purchasing 5, 10, or 20. I'm so happy to be able to do this.
Donna, this is a gorgeous (and very generous) guilt. If I may ask, to get the 50 x 62 quilt, how many 9-patches did you have to make and what size were the squares you cut.

I love the D9P. It was the very first thing I learned when I joined this awesome quilting board (well, except for the fact that everyone was so friendly and generous with their time and patience).

Very nice, you must have set a record in completing a quilt.

very pretty and the backing is perfect. It gives the quilt an antique feeling. Hope you raise a lot of money from the raffle. Bless you. :D :D :D
