another Diamond Log Cabin star in the making
#1
I started making another diamond log cabin star quilt, taking lots of how-to pictures along the way, simplifying a few things, and I got the top almost done (just one more border to go). Then I got interested in buying a longarm, made two trips to Ephrata (the first to look at the Innova, the second to get training), took another trip to San Diego to see my DIL's pinning for her R.N. degree, and since I got back home I've been mostly practicing on the longarm. I have a new toy, and I'm too distracted to work on patterns!
Here's a peek at the new quilt top. It's a little simplified from the first one. The last border will be dark, not sure of the dimensions yet, and I think I will applique something in the 4 corners. And oh yes, I'm still working on, or at least thinking about, the pattern.

As usual, another beautiful quilt. You sure have an eye for colour. We'd love to see some of your long arm work

Wow!!! That is absolutely amazing. Where did you get the pattern? (Did I miss that in the post somewhere?)
