Another Disappearing 9 patch
#1
Since I had the fabrics cut from the last project, I decided to use them up on a couple of baby quilts (my stash is low, since several friends and co-workers have recently had babies!).
Here is the first of the tops. I have the next one nearly done... will probably finish it and post it in the morning. This one is more "traditional", with only 3 fabrics and a consistent layout.
I LOVE this site!!!! It is almost like having a bunch of friends here to sew with me... the feedback is FABULOUS!!! (Thank you all!!!)

I love it! Since I started making these, I can't seem to quit. This design truly IS a stash-buster. I've sewn yards and yards of fabric in the last 3 weeks. These past two days though, I had to focus on finishing 3 very special quilts for my granddaughter (due in June). The baby shower is next weekend, so I have a crunch time. Will post pics soonest!
I think your quilts are wonderful!

WELCOME, Karen Lee!!
Thanks for your comments! I would not have thought of using black with those fabrics, but I bet your projects were gorgeous! This is exactly the kind thing that makes me LOVE this site.... friendly feed-back, moral support, and great ideas from friends all over the world (or at least the country.)!!
Be sure to share some of your projects with us soon!

great quilts cnolan! I made 1 of these this week too, gee...it really is extremely quick and fun to make. I want to add a patterned border to mine though. I'm thinking I would like to have a border made of traingles..I'm trying to think through how to draw this to paper piece it..don't know if that will work. Your quilt looks great though!
