Default Another garage sale save

Well my sis brought me these log cabin blocks she bought for $5.00 from a little old lady. She was selling them in her garage sale. My sis liked the fabric so she just didn`t want them to go to waste. She got these a few years ago and the lady told her she had made them quite a while back and never finished it. Thy were all scrap fabric, all different sizes. But the lady did have another baggie full of fabric to finish it. So my sis , not being a quilter gave them to me to do what I wanted with them. So I added to the blocks using the rest of the fabric, then cut them all the same size, made a few more using the rest of scraps. I then added some white sashing and pieced everything in a staggered pattern. Sent it off to Charisma who did an amazing job with it....as usual!!! So this is my little log cabin repurposed quilt....my sis wants it back now...lol

Wow what a lucky find. The fabrics are great, the piecing well done and the quilting is fantastic.

OOh! I don't blame her. I would want it back too. Isn't it fun to find such a wonderful quilt to finish for someone who made all of it [almost]. the Little Lady would be stunned.
