I've never been a fan of redwork but after this beauty, I think I now am! Such lovely patterns and fine quilting. A nice gem!

Just to add to the comments...the quilt is back at my house to visit for a while. My DDIL says since they are doing some cleaning and rearranging of things at their house, she is afraid it will get somehow messed up. So I am the happy caretaker of it again. If I didn't have giant dogs around I would lay it out somewhere to enjoy, but for now it is in my sewing studio where I show everyone who visits.

How beautiful! I have Work Basket books going back to 1964. I go through them sometimes just to see the oldies'.
