even though dh was home! Usually if he's here he has tons of "projects" for us to do together.....in other words I have to help with his "honey-do list!" but today was nice. He split some wood and then just piddled the rest of the day. I took oldest ds to get new shoes, that boy is 9 and I swear his feet grow overnight! Then I made block 2 of the ciil war quilt I'm doing (one block a week) and then I started on the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. I've almost got part one done. I got a nap in too! So here's my first two Civil War blocks and part of the pile of parts for the mystery quilt...a few more to cut and I'll be on to part 2!

That sounds like a great day!!! Love your blocks. My kids keep going through growing spurts. Last year my middle child went through 5 different sizes of shoes. Which means 10 pair because she needs gym shoes too. :( I keep telling them to stop growing, but they don't listen...lol!!!

I just printed out Bonnie's latest set of directions, but I don't know when I will get around to it.
