I love it! The fabric is stunning and I think your friend is going to love this. I have my fabric and I'm cutting the triangles now. I've placed a few on my design board and I get excited with everyone I do! But...yes there's always one of those (lol) I have only sewn a couple of half-triangles together and I haven't sewn the final hexies together yet. I'm really nervous about doing that.....

Thanks for sharing and I love your first creation!!

Thanks for compliments everybody!!! And yes, she does love it. Gave it to her today, and she was jumping up and down. Went through each hexagon and the colors were perfection for her. Whew!!! Another one down.
The only thing I don't like is lining up the rows by halves, but this was a small enough quilt that I didn't get toooo bored with the whole thing. Have to finish my jungle one now. But time for a change...will on something else for awhile.

You did a nice job on the quilt. I just bought this same fabric a few weeks ago from someone on the board, so I can do a OBW. Now I have an idea what it will look like.

That turned out great! They are so addicting and every piece of fabric you see you wonder if it would work for another OBW.

Great job, glad she loves it  OBW's never cease to amaze me. I've nearly finished my first (practice) one and I'm sure I'll be making more :-D
