Default Another purple and white Night and Day block quilt

Done. Washed and dried it today.

When I saw Rootyr’s post dated 5-5-12 of her Eleanor Burns Day and Night Quilt in purple and white, I loved it as much as everyone else. She finished it in two weeks!

Then I found Kristen0112’s post from 09-19-2010 where she provided a link to a paper pieced pattern which was not from Eleanor Burns but it was free! I love to paper piece!

I love two color quilts and scrappy quilts. This is a hybrid since it uses many different fabrics of the two colors: purple and white. It took me over 5 weeks from start to finish. I used fabrics all from my stash and pieced the back so that I would not have to go to the store. We moved to a new town in April 2012 and then finally bought and moved into a house on June 29th. This is my first project out of my new sewing suite and I love it. Thank you board members for providing the inspiration and pattern to accomplish it.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Makes me want to try one, and I've never been crazy about the pattern -- EB did it in blacks and whites.
