It is just beautiful! I love the "Night and Day" pattern. How did you quilt it?

Again, thanks for all of the compliments - I also loved how it turned out and it is now in the mail to the deserving recipient.

luvin quilting - Kristen0112’s post from 09-19-2010 was a post asking if there was a free pattern for the E.Burns
Day and Night quilt - Kristen0112 had provided that same link to the quilter's cache which has a PP
pattern. I do better with paper piecing than strip cutting. I ended up drafting the block in EQ7 and
played with it there so I could get the final size I wanted as well as try out different borders.

Margaret53 - Mostly it is SID with the walking foot. I used Warm and Natural batting so the quilting could be 10"
apart. The blocks are 12" so I did horizontal and vertical quilting only (so each 12" block had 4 sections
of 6" quilted squares). On the final border I free motioned a simple chain that surrounded each of the
triange and circle shapes.

Really beautiful quilt. Can't imagine that someone could finish it in 2 weeks. You did a great job!
