The inspiration behind this top was the 3" fuchsia squares that Cathy M sent over to me last year...the colours are off if you can imagine they are more into voilets and aubergines rather than bluey purple as they look, the orange is more a coral/red which picks up the little fuchsia buds :D

Thanks again Jaynie, I am using up the scraps to make a piano key border, I think this one will be going to my DIL also as she LOVES purple and this will be the colour scheme in their new lounge lol!! :D

Thanks Katie, I found a pattern on line, but with repeating the block you ended up with two squares meeting so I missed out the outside edge on to sides to allow the pattern to flow....I never do as I am told lol!! :D
