Another UFO complete - LSU quilt for Timothy
Our only Grandson, Timothy's 12th birthday present. The pillow slip & pillow has been very much enjoyed by Timothy. I started the Tumbler Quilt, in 2012 when Timothy was 4'6" tall. Just never got around to finishing it. I was trying to decide on the borders. Meanwhile, fast forward to 2015. He grew almost a foot, while I was pondering how border & complete the quilt. Had to add a larger border, that turned out looking really good. I chose an LSU fabric that looked like it was pieced. The backing for the quilt is the purple at the top of his pillow case. He chose a Fleur de Lis panto, which was fun to do. The final size is 72" x 96". It should fit him for awhile. And, yes, that is my Corvette that is being used as a design wall. lol
