Hi. I unfortunetly didn't get an upclose of the ties. Sorry about that. The quilt left for Kentucky and I live in Washington but I can see if the new
owners will take a closer picture and send it to me.
I did try and tie about 4" apart. Some where closer together depending on the pattern of the block. I did match the thread to the fabric in each block. I had 5 needles with different colors going.

Good luck. It took me 3 days to tie this one. I didn't mind though it is relaxing. Thank goodness I have a big dining room table.
Would love to see pictures when your done.
