Wow that's huge! Good job you had those two big chaps on hand to hold it up for you. :D I love those fabrics and the dark red sashing really makes the blocks pop. :D Is that appliqué in the top left corner block? :D

HI. Glad you like the quilt. Yes I put the flowers in myself. It was not in the pattern book but I thought it needed a little something.

You were so right - it's an extra element of interest in an already beautiful quilt. :D LOL - you sound like me, always have to 'improve' on patterns!

It's a wonderful quilt....looks warm and cozy. How close together do you put the ties? I'd love to see a close-up pic.

    Thanks for sharing.

Look at the guys how sweet holding it up for a picture and admiring all at the same time. Great quilt too. Just love the colors.

I love this quilt! My kind of colors! It will look fantastic on your bed. If it doesn't, just send it to me, and I'll make sure it has a good home!

Hi. I unfortunetly didn't get an upclose of the ties. Sorry about that. The quilt left for Kentucky and I live in Washington but I can see if the new
owners will take a closer picture and send it to me.
I did try and tie about 4" apart. Some where closer together depending on the pattern of the block. I did match the thread to the fabric in each block. I had 5 needles with different colors going.
Thanks and glad you like it.

Good luck. It took me 3 days to tie this one. I didn't mind though it is relaxing. Thank goodness I have a big dining room table.
Would love to see pictures when your done.
