I agree with the rest. Don't hide it. Just set aside for awhile. When you've gotten through a couple of projects you can pick up again with a fresh attitude!

PS: I love your avatar. Did you make that? It's beautiful! With your caliber of work, you can be proud of everything you make.

Your quilt turned out so beautiful. Can understand why you want to put it away but it should be completed and shown to everyone.

I LOVE applique-usually do freezer paper or fusible-haven't had much luck with my earlier tries at needle-turn-but then, I was doing it with small flowers-much harder I think. Anyway, you did a FANTASTIC job and it is too beautiful to put away. The easiest way to quilt it (I think since you did all that work on the applique, you should quilt it-but that's just me. It would be easiest to just quilt around all the applique pieces-and doing it on the machine with clear thread (monofilament) would be the fastest. Get your present quilt finished since it is on your frame and you need a break from this-but PLEASE finish it!

What a pretty quilt! I am sure you will get suggestions from other board members on quilting it. It took you so long, it would be a shame not to display/use it. I am a slow quilter as well. I guess I am a turtle as opposed to the hare! LOL

It's beautiful. Figure out a place for it to be displayed and then get it quilted. It deserves to be shown.

Finish it up if even if you send it to someone to quilt for you! It is really a lovely quilt! Too pretty to be stored away unfinished.
