I think it is beautiful. Don't put it back. You did a great job.

Cute! It looks like a Piece o' Cake design, was it? Perhaps looking at some of their finished quilts would give you some idea of how to quilt it.

It's beautiful.
I tend to avoid applique.

What a beautiful quilt, I love the colors, you should have it quilted and display it with pride.

You all are so very encouraging. Thank you for that. I promise that I will eventually get this finished and hanging in our house. I have considered sending it out to be quilted but I have never (so far) been able to let someone else work on one of my 'darlings'. It's my quirk! But I'm working up to letting someone else deal with this one.
I have bought a few new quilting books, including the one recommended earlier here. I need to sit down and do some serious reading. Then I'll decide what I'm going to do.
Meanwhile, the top is in a safe place waiting with one other finished top.

Such a happy quilt! Don't put it away. Send it out to be machine quilted and then enjoy it. It is beautiful.

Thank you so much. I made that quilt for my son-in-law's college graduation. It's called "Rolling Waves" and is posted here.
