    Made this small piece a few years ago. Ready to finish it with an applique but can't remember what I had planned to put on it! Any ideas??

    A cat? A cat reaching for a butterfly? I saw one like that recently.

    I can just see that cat reaching for that butterfly. Both would stand out on the background of that quilt. A trellis with flowers on it might blend in too much.

    I'd love to see what's become of this gorgeous quilt!!!

    It's beautiful as it is, but with an added applique, it's like a blank canvas in this pic!!
