    Default Applique wall hanging

I made this wall hanging as a Christmas gift for a friend. My grand daughter talked me into entering it in the fair in August. Lo and behold, I got a blue ribbon and now I'd like to keep it but I think I'll give it to my mother for Christmas instead. Feeling just a tiny bit guilty.

Beautiful! Quite worthy of that Blue Ribbon! I believe we are free to change our minds as to who we'd like to have our gifts! Unless the recipient has been told it's theirs already there should be no guilt when we discover a better home for our efforts!

Truly a gorgeous wall hanging and beautiful, beautiful workmanship.
