But I love the way it came out. It's a generous-sized lap quilt, and I just stiched in the ditch to quilt it. Pretty easy, actually, for a result I'm pretty pleased with!
:oops: Sorry about the "dumb" question: Does a jelly roll always have the same number of strips? Bottom line is: how many strips do I need for this quilt top?

As far as I know the jelly rolls you buy at quilt stores all have 40 strips. The ones at Joann's don't. You need 40 jelly roll strips to make this quilt.
