I love your blocks. They are so pretty. I think a warm rosy pink would be the perfect color to set them off.

I'm trying to remember the manufacturer...Kaufman, maybe? They have a line of print/blenders that look like satin. I want to use *that* in gold for your sashing!

The blocks definately need sashing. Now for the cop out. In my opinion I think you should find a green fabric with a gold design. It would be elegant.

Personally I would use pink.

I would go with a light pink, as it will set off all the blocks. The fabric is gorgeous.

What about a pink or a lavender or a green something like the green in the bottom center block.

if you want the 'fans' to float on the black, don't use strips. i personally would like to use strips between, to set them off as individual blocks....

Go with deep red shashing as it won't take away from the black.
