Default Astoria Column quilt

I made this quilt using the Quilted Photography software. I scanned a photo into the computer/program which then makes a grid to work with. This quilt has over 9000 pieces in it. I used half inch squares, ironed them onto a fusible gridded background, covered it tulle then machine quilted. Hope you enjoy it!!
The Astoria Column is in Astoria Oregon where I grew up. I have climbed it many many times!!!

Thanks for the compliments!! I love Astoria and climbing the column, it is just amazing!!! As a grade schooler, we would walk there by ourselves to play, it was just a short walk through the woods from our house, what fun we had!!!

This quilt is even more spectacular when you see it in person.
