I found this pattern somewhere a long time ago, for a Log Cabin with an uneven number of blocks across or down. In other words, if you had to make one 9 x 11 blocks, most patterns would be unbalanced. I have never made it but thought I would pass it on.

I counted 9 X 10 blocks in the pattern, is it suppose to be 9 X 11 ????

I have been making some log cabin blocks and I think this is what I am going to do with them. Thanks,

I'm so glad you posted that log cabin! My 2nd to about 13th quilt was log cabin & I have to say I still love 'em but the one you are posting is a great version I've never seen-always thought they had to be an even # of blocks, so thanks for a new & different layout!! Well, at least for me...

Great graphic appeal to this log cabin lay out. I've never seen it before and am saving it in my "to do" file.
