I know. I get so many people asking can I make them a quilt like these but I can only do them for family and my close friends as I can't get paid for actually making the quilt. The person I'm making it for must buy the doona cover themselves and then out of the goodness of my heart, I will quilt it. I could be doing these full-time and making a lot of money but alas.....

Annette, I buy the doona cover, unpick the seams, add batting and a new backing if I want to, then quilt it like I would any other quilt. The pattern is already done so it is just a matter of outline quilting the design, then adding whatever I like in the outer areas.
