Default Autumn Rain

Another MSQC quilt (Bordered Periwinkle) that has been languishing in the closet for quilting ideas. I finally found stencils that fit perfectly in the spaces, using Iron Off pounce chalk, and drew a variety of three leaves in the borders, with Crayola UltraWash markers. The fabric was so busy I just couldn't fathom FMQing it any other way. While I was waiting for another pantograph, I finished quilting it this past week and bound both this weekend. It now hangs in our living room.

Very nice. I can understand why you waited to quilt it, the ever elusive design. I probably would have taken the easy way, stitch in the ditch.

You managed to tame the fabric and design very well. I love what you did with it. Great wall hanging.

Great finish...I can see why it sat waiting for quilting inspiration, but you pulled it off wonderfully. It must feel good to finally have it done.
