oh, Bess, it is so very pretty! I am glad I asked to see it ... I just knew there was a beauty under all those folds. Old and worn or not ... it is still beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

It is called Exotic Petals. The pattern is from the May, 2001 Quilt World magazine. It is appliqued. The colors are appliqued to all four sides of the block. When the blocks are sewn together, it creates the sort of woven effect.
