I can see there is ONE VERY EXCITED granny here  Well done on the lovely little snuggle blanket and the big quilt. Beautiful. Keeping fingers crossed that it is a girl.

How beautiful! You did a wonderful job both on the quilt, bunny and burp cloth. Lucky baby.

First of all your quilts are just beautiful!!but please help me...I once made a minkee baby quilt and had a terrible time sewing it...it kept on slipping stitches. is there a trick to this, as I want to make a baby quilt for a friend of mine. Thank you .

The quilt you see is a quilt as you go and I used 505 Basting Spray and also pinned the edges together as I sewed the seams. When I was making the bunny I just pinned alot and sewed fairly slow. I also used my walking foot and that seemed to help. It still is not perfect, because it is very slippery. If you search on this board for working with Minkee others may have better suggestions.

I do love it, but it can be a pain to work with. Its also important to have a vacuum close by!! It seems to shed all over the place!

Good Luck, Laura
