just because you are asking I think you might want to add a border. I did a quilt in purple and yellow and kind of thought it might need a border but did not listen. Now I have to look at it daily and think I should have added a border. LOL It is very beautiful though. How big is it already?

I have 3 more of these honeybuns to use. I'm going to try and do a different pattern for each one.
I think that will look great. Be sure to post a picture when you're done.

I really like your quilt-how wide are your strips? Size of blocks? I may give it a try :)

What a pretty quilt! I hear it say: "Yes I'd look great with a border." I like the dot idea.

It's a honeybun so the strips are 1 1/2 inches and finish at 1 inch each after the seam allowance. And I guess I lied. I do have a few "ends" that are left over. But, hardly any waste doing it this way.

I don't think I would put a white border on a baby's quilt. It would show dirt to easily. Bind it and move on.

You did a beautiful job on the quilt, but I think it would be enhanced by adding a border. It would seem more "finished" to me.
