The first quilts I made were baby quilts using 7 fabrics. Here's a pic of one. Maybe it will give you an idea of how you could lay yours out...

I need to retake that picture. The border is a very soft coral and the prints are much softer.

Cowgirl, that quilt is darling. Another that matches because it's stitched together. Nice mix of fabrics.

I love the colors and I think the green is just perfect in it.

They will end up 1/4 the size and if you lay it out right would create a nice pattern from the green squares. Just a thought!
I agree. The green would pop more with a 'set' pattern, as in a D9P. All the fabrics are wonderful together, nice subtle coloring. When using this many different fabrics, sometimes it flows better when there is a designated design. Show us the results please!

Can you separate the greens a little more -Maybe border it in a blue tone if you want to cut down the green. I think your prints match very nicely with the solid colortones.

You've got a nine patch design. How about making it as a disappearing 9 patch? I'd use the larger print in the corner squares and probably a green in the middle and the blues on the sides. Then you'd have the green as the little squares and the blues as the rectangles. I love the color combination.

Or if you want to use all the fabrics, you'd have a scrappier look that would also be good.

Oops - that's already been suggested - don't know how I missed that!

I wanted to add that if you do the D9P you'd loose a little fabric in the seams, so if you're after a certain size, you might want to add a border, and the "I love Mommy/Daddy" fabric would be perfect.

I Love the colors. We just put one together for great-nephew with some of those colors in it. Maybe if you did more of the pattern fabric or found another that would go with the rest and cut back on the green.
Just a thought.
