    A friend of mine has been designing these very cool folded fabric motifs that she calls "facets". She gave me a heart shaped one and I was searching for someplace to use it. I stumbled upon an orphan block leftover from my book Claire's Cats Volume 2, I have no idea why this poor kitty didn't make it into the book, but now he has the heart shaped facet on his chest. After that, I did take the time to finally sew him into a baby quilt. Now he just needs to be quilted... after I add a mouse or two in the corner :-).
