Default Baby Quilt and Big Sister Quilt

My niece is expecting her second child in June, so I made this quilt for the new baby. I love this pattern and have made it several times. It goes together quite easily. Lost my points when I put the binding on Oh well!

Since her first child, Annabelle, is only 3, and has a rude awakening coming for her when her reign as the queen-of-the-household-and-center-of-all-attention ends, I thought I'd make her a matching quilt. Hers is an I-spy, so she'll be eventually able to teach her new sibling to find the objects too.

The large squares in the baby's quilt are 3 inches, while the big sister quilt has 4.5 inch squares. I practiced doing "e's and 3's" quilting in the larger one:

Thanks for looking!

Wonderful quilts! I know big sister will be especially glad. When my nephew had his new twins, I included a big boy quilt wrapped separately. Big brother immediately took it and put it on his bed.

Your quilts are so cute. Nice of you to make an extra one, hard to share sometimes.
