baby quilt with BQ3 pattern

I think your bq turned out soooo cute, I love the bright colors. I wouldn't tie any quilt for a baby, because they tend to put every thing in their mouth. You want the quilt to grow with the baby. Then they can keep on using it until (when ever they want to put it away) Lots of Love.

That's fantastic! Love the colors, love the polka dots, love the print! BQ patterns are wonderful, aren't they? I used one for a t-shirt quilt.
Hmmmm. Quilt or tie? I like tied baby quilts! Is your batting rated for enough space between tacks? Maybe a little SITD along with the tying?

It's adorable. I would use a walking foot and quilt long, randomly wavy lines from side to side and end to end. It's quick and looks much better IMO than tying, and is much easier than SID. If you make the lines about 3 inches apart it will meet the requirements of your batting and the quilt will still be soft.
