Several months ago I used a 5 yard bundle to make a baby quilt. Hmmmm - 5 yards for a baby quilt!? Got it almost pieced when I realized it was just too big for a baby and too infantile for anyone else. After all the good suggestions on here I finally got back to it. I cut off the last couple of borders and pieced them together for the back. it's not a pretty thing, but it is very nice flannel so I may just have to keep it for our next litle one. Now would one of you contact my daughter (who has a 3-year-old) and let her know we're ready for the next one. If you make it, they will come.

I asked Santa for a grandbaby the last 2 years...getting my wish this year. Precious gd is due December 23. They had been trying for 4 years...so this is an especially welcomed gift for all of us. Good luck!

This is such a beautiful baby quilt! How could they not want to oblige your wishes? :D:D:D

I was blessed with twin grandsons one summer, the following summer another grandson, the next summer another grandson :D DD's were taking turns, every other year LOL So, I jokingly told my two daughters I didn't care which one, but one of them better get busy making me a granddaughter and the next summer along she came ROFLMBO
5 grands with birthdays all between July 15th and Aug 8th LOL

My DDs have now blessed me with a total of 8 DGKs... now I guess I need to start working on getting my DS married
