majormom - I'll have to look at that - the small quilting area is really an issue. However, I think it's the distance between my needle and the back of my machine that is the biggest problem - esp as the finished area rolls up on the first pole.

I have a Brother 9000 with a throat space of less than 5" - more like 4 3/4. No wonder!
