a baby quilt for a friend

My friend just found out she was having a boy. So I started a quilt for her today. I still need to add another boarder to it. I was thinking about making her a few burp cloths and bibs that coordinate with the quilt also.

Love the pattern and fabric. I think this is just fine without an additional border. Just being a new Grandma for the first time I know those burp clothes come in handy!

The new mama will love it even more because you made it. Decorated burp cloths are a great idea, and also bibs. I made lots for my daughters little girl with ties, which she loved because baby couldn't tear the bib off when in the high chair like with the velcro ones. Made a number with pockets at the bottom to catch the food, too -- they went through a LOT of bibs and burp cloths! Love the colors you chose and you did a terrific job.

    Thanks.
I know I went through alot of bibs and burp cloths when my son was small. They come in handy and you can never have enough of them.
