Very nice baby quilt! Great colors.

I don't know what to say or do about relatives who don't appreciate home made gifts. It seems to be a fairly common experience.

But, with respect to a new Mom and a baby gift, just remember what she might be going through.

In any case, don't let it get you down or stop you from creating things!

Rebie you can make me aquilt anytime! I give all of mine away and don't have any, isn't that a sad statement? Your quilt is lovely I don't usually like purple but I think it is great for a baby. You did a wonderful job!

Whatever happened to manners? You have all the kudos here.

Sad isn't it that some people in this generation has no idea what a mere "Thank You" means. Of course we don't GIVE for the Thanks but its always nice to know that the gift is appreciated. I love giving to my kids and my grandkids... the grands always give the best kisses and thank you's. And to give charity quilts and blocks is to be giving because it does the heart good...no Thanks wanted.

Pretty quilt and when she is older and decides she would like to make something and find out how much work is involved she will be much more appreciative! Her loss.

Very pretty quilt....unfortunate about the lack of manners on the mother's part...perhaps her offspring will encounter a mentor/teacher to fill the manners void which no doubt exists in their home.

I love it - It looks like a weave pattern...last time I tried this pattern it didn't come out this good - looked like blocks just thrown together - so I'll take it if she doesn't want it :)
