This was a BOM on HGTV in 2003??? The original design ended at the basket, I added a scarecrow and more bird houses across the top to extend it to fit a full size bed.

I also added the tree and kite to make the top longer to fit the bed. The original had a fence at the bottom. I made mine on three sides and added 5 cats we had at the time, and gazing globes my husband liked, also a flamingo he liked. I might add this was 90& hand quilted and has been set aside. Now that I have my Gammill I may take out the hand stitching (not done very well) and quilt it on the Gammill.

I like it - that is one of the most original quilts I've ever seen!
I especially like how you incorporated the cats into the design.

That is just adorable! I love how you expanded the original design to personalize it and make it fit your bed.

You think like I do...a pattern is a springboard for creativity...
