    Baby quilts for June babies

These baby quilts were quilted for babies being born in June. I used only flannel for the backing and no batting. Each set includes a burp cloth, a receiving blanket of one layer flannel and binding to match the quilt, and a baby quilt.

Both very nice. Can I ask what length your strip was in the jelly roll quilt? did you use WOF cuts? Whould it work with width of Fat Quarters?

Hi Lucky...I just used "stash" green fabric and cut them 2 1/2" wide and various lengths. I had wanted to buy a green batik jelly roll, but the store I went to didn't have one...so I just used the greens I already had. It seemed to work out ok. I think fat quarters would work well, especially for a small quilt. Enjoy, if you decide to make one of these.
