Back in the sewing room, latest finishes

I haven't been here in quite awhile, had a bad bout of bronchitis and after I just didn't feel like quilting for some reason. I finally got the urge again, cleaned and rearrange my sewing room and got back into it. Here are the pictures of my recent finishes. All scrappy, my fav type of quilt.

Looks like you jumped back in in a big way. :-) Very nice - favorite is the fan. :-)
There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE...Getting back up is LIVING... (Borrowed from Airwick156 :-)

Wow, these are wonderful. What lovely finishes. Sorry you've been feeling under the weather. You still got a lot accomplished. You give scrappies a GOOD name. You use color wonderfully.

Wow - your hiatus must have been good for your quilting mojo - you've come back with not only a bang but FOUR of them!

Glad you are feeling better; thank you for sharing your gorgeous quilts.

Love your quilts. I can understand the mojo from bronchitis. I had it over the winter, and it took me a good month to get my energy level back to where it was before I was sick. It knocks the you know what out of you.

Love, love, love them all! What is the pattern you used for the third one? That's right up my alley! Or did you just make the pattern yourself?

Theyre all lovely, but I particularly like the 1st & 4th ones; the colours are nice & bright against the white. Great finishes!

You do great work. Those are lovely quilts!

Ok, for the patterns. The first is Four Patch Plaid in the book Big Book of Nickle Quilts by Pat Speth. Over 40 patterns in it. I bought the ebook and put on my iPad, was only about 10.00 , well worth it. The second, fans is just grandmothers fan I got fron an old book. The third (my favorite) is Bricks and Stepping Stones by Bonnie Hunter, free on her website, Quiltville. I've made several of this, in florals and 30's repro. It always looks good no matter the fabric, very quick and easy, has to be one of my all time favorite patterns. The last is Jacobs Ladder done scrappy, also in the nickel quilt book, but it can be found a lot of places. Hope this helps those interested in the patterns. Thanks for looking.
