I made this little bag tonight. Oh the joys of not being able to sleep! ;)

I was a little worried about this one, as it's the 2nd bag I've ever made, but I think it turned out so nicely. I made this tester to make sure I could easily follow the pattern. Hers will be the same fabric, with a pink zipper. Not sure about embellishments, the white button shown here was from a bag my momma gave me a few months ago.

The pattern is from Lazy Girl Designs - "Runaround Bag", and measures 7"x9". It was so easy to follow and I will be making many more of these. Only takes two fat quarters and a 12" zipper!

Here is a picture of both bags I've made. The one on the left is my every-day bag. I blogged about it here, including pattern details and review - http://skippitydodahquilts.blogspot..../bag-lady.html

Okay, I really need to get some sleep, lol! We're going through open houses tomorrow, as we just put our condominium on the market a few weeks ago! Goodnight, all!

cute bag, love it, I would like one like that one side to keep my cell phone with zipper
and the other side with a zipper for $$$ to go to quilt shows etc.

    maybe you can design something

That was my thought when I made this one! Sometimes I just don't need my 'big momma' bag, but I still need to carry cash, i.d., etc. This was a great solution!

They are both really cute. :) I couldn't sleep last night. I had a friend over. I'm so glad she is a crafty friend!!! We stayed up until 2 in the morning weaving a rug.
