    Bali sea star quilt

This is the Bali Sea Star Quilt out of the book "Scrap Basket Surprise". The only thing I wish I would have done different is I wish I would have made it to fit my bed instead of being a lap quilt. This is one of my favorite patterns. I hope to make another one day but only bigger. I used the Bali Pop called Spumoni and quilted it edge to edge with a feather. Thanks for looking

Oh, that is pretty - you did a great job!!! :-)
I have some Bali Pops that I haven't been able to figure out a pattern for and I'm thinking this might just be it. What did you use for the background, is that a batik or a print/solid? I find it a little challenging to find good light neutrals in batiks, they tend to look a little 'dirty' in my eyes, the creams seem to have a hue of green or mustardy yellow/tan to it etc. Am I the only one finding this challenging?

The background is a light color batik. I think it is by Hoffman.
