So I belong to the Dallas Oncology Nursing Society and last year I sewed rice bags to raise money. This year I got this big idea to sew a quilt that they can raffle to raise money. Now I am cringing at the fact that they will ask for money for this because I didn't quilt it much. I had fun with it though and it helps support oncology nursing scholarships. It measures 60 x 78.

The binding got cut off but it is the dark blue polka dot.

Trying to show some of the quilting. It is the fourth one I have done on my long arm.

I meandered in the outer border, half circles in the red, cross hatching on the blue, and squiggly lines on the seams in the body of the quilt. Squiggly lines is the technical term, if you were wondering.:)

That is just beautiful. I am always afraid of curves, so seeing yours is inspiring. Great job and great cause.

It looks perfect from here. Sometimes less is more. I think you did a wonderful job for something you truly believe in. Hope she fetches bunches of Moooooooooooolaaaaaaaaaa.
