In the last few days I tried out a new batting, a Bamboo/Cotton blend, 50%/50%. Maybe you are interested in how it looks like when it is handquilted. I didn't prewash the batting.

I see that you want to keep me hypnotized.
You must have 100s of items you have done. Do you have a count? What do you do with them? You show us so many wonderful things. You would need a warehouse to store all of them.
Very beautiful.

Gorgeous and it looks like bamboo batting works fine;> Though some people have raised concerns about chemicals in it... I've not tried it, yet.

Sorry, Dorothy... I hope you feel fine! I will stop right now posting pictures for today. :-)
I think I have done about 40 or 45 wholecloth until today. Some of them hang on the wall in our house, some I made as a present, some are for exhibitions and the rest just stay in my closet. I also use them as demonstration material for my workshops.

Well, this quilt will be a wall hanging, so I don't care so much about chemicals in it in that case. Fortunately I'm not allergic at all.

Beautiful effect. Price wise how does it compare to warn and natural?

What gorgeous quilting. Don't let those quilts sit in your closet - send them to me!

i love working with the bamboo batting, it is so soft and easy to needle, and washes well too, no shrinkage, good drape...
