This is a Judy Niemeyer pattern.

It is a stunning piece.

I struggled a bit with design ideas...and decided to loosely outline the blades. I am not sure that you can soften them much nor do I want to...I love them. I topped it off with a semi-symmetrical feather..which is really hard for me.

I love pieced backs.

I quilted this freehand on my Innova. This quilt has warm and natural batting.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I just finished the placemats & tablerunners - same pattern & I was having a hard time deciding how to quilt them.
