It is striking and yes I think it is perfect for a baby....they are attracted to primary colors. Thanks for sharing.

I'd put that on the wall in a babies room. The colors are fantastic to catch the babies attention.

It is absolutely beautiful! When my husband was in college one class he took was in child development and they said bright colors stimulate babies and their learning process, so after that when I made a baby blanket (crochet or quilt) I make it with bright colors. My daughter took a similar class 25 years later and they are still saying the bright colors are better than pastels. So depending on what you want from the quilt - the brighter the better.

i love it...and all the comments are right...babies see bold colors much better than pastels....this should be a wall hanging til she gets old enough to really appreciate it.
