I really like the colors of the batiks. I would like to try a braid quilt one day. You did a great job.

It was not hard at all. I used the tute at Missouri Quilt Company as my starting point and then made the rest up. I used a jelly roll I bought from a board member and cut my pieces 7 inches with a 45 deg. angle. ruler. I wish I would have made the border bigger but when planning, I didn't want the boarder to over shadow the quilt. Go for it, it's fun watching it come together.
    Happy Quilting.

For never having worked with batiks before - it looks like you have plenty to choose from. This is wonderful! And you won't be afraid to use them again, will you?

It was so much easier than I thought it would be. Go to Missouri Quilt Company and watch the braid tute. That is pretty much what I used. I used a ruler that I had with a 45 degree angle and cut mine 7 inches. I used part of a jelly roll.
    Happy Quilting.
